How to remind yourself to return a missed call on your iPhone

If you've upgraded your iPhone to iOS 6, you've got some new options when it comes to handling incoming phone calls. One of those options is to set a reminder to return a missed call either when you leave your current location or one hour from the time of the missed call.

Here's how.

How to set a reminder to call someone back when you leave

  1. When you receive an incoming call you'll see the addition of a telephone icon to the right of slight to answer. Slide it upwards.
  • You'll now see some more options appear. Tap the Remind Me Later option.
  • Now choose the option for When I Leave.
  • You may receive a pop up notification asking you to confirm that it's okay for the Reminders app to access your current location. Hit OK.
  • When you leave your current location, you will get a reminder to call the person you missed a call from back.
  • How to set a reminder to call someone back in one hour

    1. When you receive an incoming call you'll see the addition of a telephone icon to the right of slight to answer. Slide it upwards.
  • You'll now see some more options appear. Tap the Remind Me Later option.
  • Choose the In 1 Hour option. Your phone will automatically remind you to return the call exactly an hour from the time you missed it. That's all there is to it.
